EU AI Compass — Privacy Policy

Summary. EU AI Compass is designed as a privacy-first, zero-login app. Where the app supports assessments or checklists, inputs are intended to be stored on the user’s device. The app is not intended to create an attorney-client relationship and does not provide legal advice.

1) Who we are

EU AI Compass is published by Move78 International Limited, a private limited company incorporated in Hong Kong SAR. Contact: contact@move78int.com.

2) Data processed by the app

  • On-device content: User-entered assessment/checklist answers, stored locally on the device (if enabled in the app). This data is never transmitted to any server operated by Move78 International Limited or any third party.
  • Content updates: The app may retrieve read-only educational content and rule updates from a content service (Firebase Firestore) to keep materials current. No personal data is sent in these requests.
  • Purchases: If you buy premium features, purchases are processed by the app store platforms (Apple/Google) as Merchant of Record. The app may receive a purchase entitlement status via an anonymous UUID. No email or identity is required.

3) What we do not do

  • No mandatory user accounts, login, or email collection for basic use.
  • No collection, processing, or storage of personal data as defined under GDPR Article 4(1).
  • No sale of personal data.
  • No advertising tracking or ad SDKs.
  • No analytics SDKs within the app itself.

4) Third-party services

Depending on the released build, EU AI Compass may use third-party processors for infrastructure, payments, and content delivery. These services may process limited technical data required to operate (for example, device/network metadata necessary for delivering content or validating purchases).

Current processors (Phase 1): Google Firebase Firestore (content delivery, read-only). No personal data is transmitted to Firebase.

5) Retention and controls

On-device information remains on the device unless you delete it using in-app controls (if available) or uninstall the app. We do not have access to data stored on your device.

6) Your rights

Because the app does not collect personal data, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, delete, or port. If you believe we hold any personal data about you, contact contact@move78int.com and we will investigate and respond within 30 days.

7) Website analytics (this website only)

This website (euaicompass.com) uses Google Analytics, loaded only after you provide consent via the cookie banner. This does not apply to the mobile app, which contains no analytics.

8) Updates

We may update this policy. The effective date above indicates the latest version.
